Table Decor & Remote Caddy
Here is a DIY remote caddy that doubles as a decorative centerpiece for the coffee table. For years I searched for a solution to our remote control problem. You know THE problem when you’ve decided to turn something on and you can’t find the remote control for the television. I went on a search to find a solution for this issue. However, I didn’t like anything that I could find. Wanting something beautiful and decorative, but also functional, I realized I was going to have to make something.
With just 2 items, I created this. All you need is simply a pencil holder and large foam flowers. I would normally go to Hobby Lobby for these items but I happened to come across both while I was at TJMAXX. So I was able to get everything I need from one place, and for under $10. Sounds like a great deal to me!
What you will need:
- Pencil Holder
- 3-4 Large Foam Flowers
These flowers were apart of a wreath that I found. I removed them from the wreath to use for this project.
Directions:
- One at a time, tightly wrap the stem of the flower around one of the metal rods on the pencil holder.
- Continue doing this until you have added all of the flowers.
- Adjust your flowers so that they look full.
- Place on your coffee table and use as a remote control caddy! Or as a really pretty pencil holder. Or for something else. I’d love to hear the different ways this is being used. Enjoy!
